Invisalign in Boynton Beach Discreetly Improves Your Smile
If you want a beautifully straight smile but you’d rather not have a mouthful of metal wires, brackets, and rubber bands, Invisalign may be for you! Instead of metal braces, you straighten your teeth with a series of clear plastic aligners. The aligners are so inconspicuous, few people will even notice you’re wearing them.Dr. Rosenblatt on Invisalign Read Transcript
Well, Invisalign is—a lot of orthodontists use Invisalign too in their offices, but there's no wires and there's no brackets on the teeth. You're just using trays that are changed out every two weeks. What we can do is when we start Invisalign, they do something that's called a ClinCheck where we take impressions of your teeth, send that off to Invisalign, and then they make a video where you can see how your teeth move in the final position. If you approve it, they make the aligners right then and we can start right away. It slowly moves your teeth into the desired position.
It's painless and you're not changing the teeth at all, so you're just moving them into the position that you want them to be in. At the end, you wear retainers that are clear, like the Invisalign, and then you would get the desired result that you want. Whether you want to move one tooth, several teeth, or all your teeth, you can do almost everything with Invisalign.
In addition to their discreet appearance, Invisalign aligners are:
- Comfortable. Most people find the smooth plastic aligners more comfortable to wear than traditional braces. There’s no metal to irritate your mouth.
- Convenient. You can take the aligners out when eating, which makes it easier to enjoy your favorite foods and to clean your teeth afterward.
- Relatively quick. The average Invisalign treatment time for adults is 12 months, which is months less than braces usually require.
The best way to find out if Invisalign aligners are right for you is at a free consultation with Dr. Hugh Rosenblatt. To schedule one, call (561) 737-8559. He’s also happy to discuss other cosmetic dentistry treatments with you!
You’ll Find the Invisalign Process Easier & Quicker Than Braces
During your initial visit, Dr. Rosenblatt will look at where your teeth are and where you want them to be. From this, he’ll create a unique Invisalign treatment plan. You’ll also get to see a digital model of what your new, straight smile will look like. Dr. Rosenblatt will take dental impressions, which are used to create your custom aligners.
Once your aligners are ready, you begin wearing them immediately. To keep treatment on track, you should wear them 20-22 hours a day. You’ll change to new aligners every two weeks until you reach the end of the series. Every four to six weeks, you’ll come to our Boynton Beach, FL dentist office for quick checkups so we can ensure your orthodontics treatment is going according to plan. Unlike braces, no adjustments will be needed!
The final step in the process is the easiest and most exciting: you get to show off your new smile!
