Meet Dr. Hugh RosenblattRead Transcript
Well, I'm a Jersey boy originally so I went to Rutgers University for undergraduate and I studied biology there. Then I went to Temple Dental School in Philadelphia for four years to become a dentist, where I got a lot of experience. It's in the inner city. It's a very poor area, and there's tons of people there who need dental work so there was no shortage of patients, and you get a tremendous amount of experience there.
Well, I try to stay on top of the latest techniques and technology in my offices. I began placing implants in the past few years to help people who were missing teeth. The technology and everything is constantly changing. There's always new things coming out. I try to do the best for my patients and keeping on top of everything and expanding my knowledge base and trying to provide as many services as possible under one roof to the patients so they don't have to go to different offices all the time. I try to keep as much as possible here—that we can do here. I'm always trying to expand my knowledge so that way, I can do more and more things here in the office.
Dr. Hugh Rosenblatt is a transplant to the great state of Florida. He is originally from New Jersey, where he began his dental education. He received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and then moved on to attend the Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University. After graduation, Dr. Rosenblatt moved on to the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey, to complete his general practice residency. He fully joined the practicing dental community following the completion of his residency.
Dr. Rosenblatt has been practicing in Florida since 1998 and opened his own practice in 2001. This gave him more freedom to help his patients the way they needed, and to provide the kind of comfort and care that they deserved. When asked what the most rewarding part of practicing dentistry is for him, he will answer that it is helping his patients get to and maintain a high level of dental health. The boost to their self-esteem is evident when they see their new smile for the first time. Getting to be a part of that moment is truly priceless.Read Transcript
Why I do what I do is to help people fix their teeth, get them out of pain, make them feel better about themselves, help their self-confidence. A lot of dentistry is a disease so we're trying to cure, eliminate, or minimize the disease process in people's mouths so we're getting them healthy; it helps their overall health. People walk out of here, you know, if you make it as painless as possible, most people are happy with what they get. At the end of the day, you're helping people but you also—you feel good about yourself too.
Even though Dr. Rosenblatt has completed his formal education and now has been practicing dentistry for more than 18 years, the learning part of his job is never finished. He wants to be able to provide the highest level of care that he can to his patients, and this goal is what drives him to attend hundreds of hours of continuing education courses every year. These courses help him to stay up to date with the latest developments in dental technology and techniques that will allow him to give you the type of treatment that you want and expect from Hugh B. Rosenblatt, DMD, PA. The continuing education courses also allow him to maintain his membership in various professional organizations. To date, he is a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry as well as the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Rosenblatt is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association.
Outside of helping people find their winning smiles, Dr. Rosenblatt loves to spend time with his lovely wife and their two twin girls. His other hobbies include skiing and playing tennis.
Dr. Rosenblatt has helped many people over the years, and he wants your smile to be the next one he helps improve.
